This costume was made in a period of just over a month.  Every piece of this costume including the shoes were completely hand made. The coat was draped from muslin and the stockings and bodysuit draped on a mannequin.

I premiered this costume at Otakon 2014 and it brought home the award for Best Costume at the Journeyman level.

This costume took 4 yards of velvet, 2 yards of lycra, 7 yards of lace, 4 yards of heavy interfacing, 20 feet of strung pearls and various other materials including silk duponi, cotton sateen, mesh, leather and vinyl.

[I will be be linking to several posts on how this was made]
